Days of Our Lives

We are getting hectic with all the kids sport activities. We are glad to be getting some warmer weather, though it can't make up it's mind!! We have had snow flurries today!! Justice is really busy getting ready for her Melody Makers Spring show in May. Justice is also doing Club Volley ball, and she is a great server. That will be over in about 2 weeks. She is also doing girls fast pitch softball. She is a great pitcher, so hopefully this will be a good season for her. Austin is doing baseball, he is pretty excited! Last night he had his Pinewood Derby, I have pics but need to reinstall the program on this computer. Will get that done later today, so I will have the pictures posted soon. Ethan is playing knothole this year, we have never done this, so it will be an interesting adventure. He is very excited!! Karli is doing T-ball, and is very anxious for her games to start. She is loving preschool, it is over the end of this month and she will miss going! She has really learned a lot and will be very prepared for Kindergarten in August!! I can't believe she will be in Kindergarten!! Only 2 at home!! Ryley is a busy bee, and wants to go to school also. I have him signed up for preschool at BYU-I, hopefully he will get in. I kinda signed him up late, so we will cross our fingers!! He is totally potty trained, even at night, he has been awesome and easy!! Kason is getting clingy, all my boys do!! He is still taking steps, but is just sticking with about 3-4 steps and then crawling is faster. He has mastered the stairs, at least going up. Going down is still done with gravity!! We still have Alexis, we should be finding out in the next couple of weeks if she will be staying longer or going home with mom. I think after this we will not renew our licsense with the state. Six is enough for me, and I am running around more with my kids and it is just getting to be too much. I have not decided for sure, I really enjoy staying involved, but it does take a lot out of you!! Well that is my update for today! I hope to get some pics posted today!!

My baby has started Walking!!

Crazy!! My little Kason has started taking his first steps! He can pull himself up with out holding any thing and has taken as many as 5 steps without falling!! He started about 2 weeks ago. I thought it was a fluke, but he has done it a few more times. He knows crawling is much faster, but he is learning he is getting lots of clapping and excited cheering when taking steps!! He is just barely 9 months old, this is the earliest any of our kids have started this phase. I will post some videos as soon as we hook up our new computer, this one is still not working great.

We have been very busy with child #7!! Yes, a new foster child. She is 5 and her name is Alexis. She has been with us for almost 2 weeks. She is kind of a female version of Ethan,loves to tease, and she is like Justice because she likes to be bossy!! We will have her for a month, so the end of April is a shelter care hearing and it will be determined if she will stay with us longer or return home with mom. She is getting along pretty well with everyone. She is used to NO rules, lots of junk food and an only child. So she is doing pretty well with our house rules, limited junk food and lots of siblings. She really likes Kason, she smothers him, and he is teriffied to be held by her, could be because she dropped him!! He is also just in the mommy only stage. We will keep everyone updated with the drama!!
