Funny night humor!!

The other night Karli came to my side of the bed to ask if she could sleep with me. I told her no, since Kason was already in my bed. She cried, so I told her to get in bed with Ryley. They share a bunk bed, since she is scared and won't sleep in her own room. She tried to wake up Ryley but he is a pretty sound sleeper, so she could not get him to budge. Karli wanted him to climb up to her bed, and he just could not wake up. She got in her bed and cried a little and kept begging Ryley to come get in her bed, she said " I am scared", "Ryley, I am scared". So cute, his very sleepy voice says to her " it's just your imagination"!! She just cried more, and finally fell asleep. I of course over heard all of this and was just laughing, trying to not shake the bed to wake up Kason. You could tell that was not the answer Karli was looking for, aparently no one was very sympathetic to her need for someone to sleep with her. I just laughed!! So dang funny!!

Ryley Day!!

Wow are kids exciting are what!!?? In church Sunday, during Sunday school, the Primary President interupted and needed to speak to me, I stepped out in the hall. She then went on explaining that Ryley stuck a B.B up his nose!! SAY WHAT??!! I had to have her repeat this, since I was stunned as to how he got a B.B up his nose! Ryley said he didn't know what to do with it, so he decided to stick it up his nose. I tried to get him to blow his nose, while I held the nostrile without the B.B closed, he did not get this concept and just blew out his mouth. So we started walking home to get a pair of tweezers for me to get it out. As we were walking across the lawn, he laughed and blew it out!! He was so excited, he said "mom it came out in the grass!" So we turned around and went back to church!!
Later that evening, it was awfully quiet, and I wondered where Ryley was. So I went upstairs to see where he was at, I walked into my room and he popped out of my closet. I noticed a perfumey smell, I reconized it as some hand lotion from my purse. He had been in my closet smearing lotion all over my shoes, carpet and an old computer we had set in there. I was beside myself, I don't understand the desire to do that. I don't even know how to punish for that, other than he went to his room for a little while. A few moments later I saw a brand new tube of anti-itch benyadral cream all squeezed out all over my carpet and a stuffed animal. WHAT THE HAY!! What is wrong with this child, what on earth is so fun with that, and do you not think, geez my mom will be dang mad at me!! I guess NOT!!
So needless to say, it was a day of Ryley is driving me nuts day!!

Pine Wood Derby fun!!

Last night was Austin's PineWood Derby at the church. We had fun attending and seeing everyone's cars, the boys were of course very anxious to get racing!! Making the car was a little troublesome, but Travis will stick to his story that is was all under control. It was definetly crunch time at 10 minutes till race time we had some malfunctioning. In the end, it was a great and fun experience. I am glad it is over with though!! Next year we will have two boys doing cars, we will have double crunch time I am sure!!

More painting

Another painting project!! Justice and Travis have been painting her room. She has been waiting forever, and now it is getting done. She picked the colors and now the mess has begun! She is really excited for it to be all finished, and we will get some pics when the project is complete. She chose yellow, with lime green and blue dots. Sounds crazy but I think it will turn out to be really fun, just in time for Spring!!

Easter Egg Hunting

Well, another year of the City Easter Egg Hunt in Sugar City. Ethan, Karli, Ryley and Kason went to get thier fun eggs and prizes. Austin and Justice are of course too old!! Luckily we had beautiful weather this year, last year we had snow drifts and it was freezing. So it was nice to get out and enjoy the day. Here are some pics of the fun!!

Need blogging help!

So I have been having some issues with my computer, apparently my cute background page has disappeared. I can't get a new background page to come up. I have tried everything I can think of. So if anyone has a suggestion I could use it!! I usually get my backgrounds from thecutestblogontheblock, but now nothing will appear on my blog!! HELP!!
