Baltimore Aquarium

We had an amazing day at the aquarium with grandpa and uncle Harold. We enjoyed seeing all the beautiful creatures, eating lunch in the cafeteria and watching the dolphin show. As we were watching the show I told Karli she could be a dolphin trainer and work at the aquarium, and how exciting that would be. Ryley pipes in "can boys be dolphin trainers?" So cute, of course boys can, I told him. They were totally amazed at the show, even Kason's eyes were glued to the show, and he was clapping. It was a great show, wish it was longer!!

Headed out East!!

So our trip begins on May 30th at 4:45 in the morning. It was a crazy first day, but we all survived. I am trying to keep up with all the activities and outings of our adventure. Hopefully we will not forget anything. We have taken over 400 pictures, but we will not post them all. Just a sampling of all the fun things we have been doing. I don't want to get to far behind in posting so here are some of the things we have done over the last 2 weeks. More to come, stay tuned!!

First Night at Grandma & Grandpa's

We finally arrived to my parents house on June 1st. It was a long drive but all 8 of us made it!! The first night we got there the kids found a turtle, and later that evening a frog. We will have plenty of frog pics later!! We were so glad to be there, Grandma even had a scavenger hunt for the kids to do. They needed some running around time, and it was a great opportunity to stretch thier legs and play a fun activity!!

Crafts and Puzzles

The Gnome Garden

Crafts outside on the patio! Girls tied ribbon on flip flops to decorate them!

Austin was in hot glue gun, paper, glue, tape, sticks, moss heaven. He absolutely LOVES projects and creating things.

My mom is the best when is comes to kids activities, she is a art person herself, so crafts are a must at her house. She has tons for the kids to do. Austin of course loves any opportunity to do a craft and build something. So the big craft day was creating a gnome garden, they glued moss to the bird houses, frogs, bark, flowers and made a fence out of tongue depressors. They had the best time and it was quite the mess.
