On August 4th, as we were leaving Island Park we stopped off at Mesa Falls to hike around and check out the beautiful scenery!! It was a beautiful day and we had a nice afternoon seeing the beautiful world we live in.

Still Catching Up!!

While we were at the cabin in Island Park, Ryley had a birthday!! Yeah the big 5!! It was such a fun party, with yummy cake and of course a fun day floating the river!! We had a great day with everyone, and ended with fun birthday party for our smiley Ryley!! We love him so much and he is such a wonderful blessing to our family!! Happy Birthday Ryley!!

So stinkin' behind!

I am so behind, I feel so overwhelmed. I hope I can get caught up before the end of the year. I really do love blogging, and feel it is a journal of some sorts. I am HORRIBLE at writing in a actual journal, so I hope to get moments and pictures in this blog recorded for memories in the future. I have lots to catch up on, and lots of pictures to add. I haven't stopped taking the pictures, just haven't been very good at getting them on this blog or Facebook. I love taking pictures, and get this need to take pictures from my Grandma Wolfe. We teased and joked that she always had the camera out, and of course at meal times when we were shoveling a fork full of food in our mouths. I love my Grandma Wolfe for being so good at taking family pictures and she was so organized to get them in a photo album, dated and labeled with names and the event. She was such a good example to me, and I miss her very much!!
So to get caught up, I will start with my parents coming out here to Idaho for a week in August to spend time with us and be with the kids. I am grateful for my parents and all their support and love and the time they take to fly out to see us. We had so much fun with them here and good weather to do outdoor things. We rented a cabin in Island Park for 3 days, August 2,3 & 4th, it was a beautiful cabin and we really enjoyed staying there. We rented some float tubes and a raft to float down the river. We started out about 10:00am, and it took us 4 hours to float, the very cold water. We switched around from tubes to the raft, we had so much fun and the kids just loved it. Towards the end, Grandpa, Justice and Karli saw a mamma moose and her baby. We saw lots of interesting birds and lots of fish. We had a great time floating the river, and we were glad to reach the end to warm up and eat!!!!
