Boring Summer Days!!

The boring days of Summer have kicked in. So Austin, his best friend Junior and Ryley decide to raid my Halloween costume box. Here are few pics of thier creations, they had quite the laugh!!

Camping tent style!!

We went camping this past weekend. It was an interesting adventure. We went Saturday afternoon, up past the dry farms into the mountains, about 20 miles from home. We found a great spot to set up so Travis and I got the first tent set up, and then Austin and Travis got the other tent set up. Kids got to do lots of 4wheeling. We had barbqued some steak and had a great dinner. I went for long 4 wheeling ride with the kids, and we got to see a moose and her baby, we really scared them with the loud 4 wheelers, but they ran off to safety!! My favorite part was the smores!! It is the only reason I go camping!! We made lots of yummy smores!! This is where it gets interesting. Bedtime!! Justice, Austin and Ethan are in a tent, and Travis, myself, Ryley and Karli are in the other tent. We have 2 full size air mattress, Travis and Ryley on one and Kason and me on one. Kason finally after thrashing for awhile gets to sleep. Karli and Ryley crash quickly!! About 1:00am kason just cannot get comfy or deal with not being in his own bed. Finally Travis decideds one of us needs to drive him home and sleep then come back in the morning. I am afraid I will not know how to get home, So Travis leaves with Kason and Austin, he is too annoyed from all the noise to go home. At the same time he is leaving I am scared a bear is going to come eat us!! Travis offers to leave his gun, but I am scared I will shoot myself!! I finally get myself together and get to sleep. I did though have nightmares all night ( what was left of the night) that we were attacked by bears and Travis got malled and killed by a bear!! So needless to say one night was enough. Kason woke up with pink eye, I have pink eye and then Karli woke up Monday morning with pink eye!! CRAZY!! We had fun camping overall. But I think that is last time this year. We will have to wait till next summer when Kason can deal with tent sleeping better!! Enjoy the pics!!

Idol Tour for Four!!

Last Monday, July 14th, me and three other friends went to the big Top Ten American Idol concert in Salt Lake City. We had so much fun. Mom & Dad were so great to let us come crash at there place that night after the concert!! We were the screaming Sugar City cougars!! I actually was not into American Idol this season, I just went to get away and play with my gal pals!! Travis was great and stayed home with the kids overnight. They all did great too with mom gone. Tuesday we went out to breakfast, hit the Gateway Mall, Tai Pan, and Famous Daves for dinner. We headed home and I was greeted with kids at the front door who were glad to see me!! We all had a blast!!

Kason's 1st Birthday!!

My darling baby is 1!!! Kason's first birthday was today, we had a fun little party this afternoon. He of course had no clue what was going on. But loved all the attention. He has 7 teeth, and is eating much better. He is just about weaned from nursing, and is sleeping in his own bed all night!! All these milestones calls for another baby!! Just Kidding!! I am missing the baby stage, I love the little babies!! But now is my time to do all the raising of 6 youngsters!! Happy Birthday Kason!! We love you!!

Finally some pics of Austin playing baseball. We got a new camera and had to figure how to download the pics, so here are a few. He did really good, this was his first year playing real baseball. He had a lot of fun, and learned lots about the sport. I think he plan on doing it again next year!!

We just spent the last 5 days at a family reunion with all of Travis' family. We rented a HUGE lodge that we all stayed in. It was a very interesting weekend, we all survived and with no major injuries or disagreements!! We really had a great time, and great weather. The house we stayed in was a great place with lots of activities for the kids to stay busy with. One of the rooms had a climbing wall and a slide that went down to a large play room. As you can see from the pics, we have some good climbers. Even Kason was getting a taste of it!! Ethan stayed on the wall for a bet with his mom, she paid him a dollar to stay on the wall for 30 min. Needless to say it was a good babysitter!! HA! I will post more pics later.

Happy 4th of July!! We had a great day at the parade. The kids got lots of candy and we got to see some fun things!! We were surrounded by family, all of Travis' siblings and thier kids and his parents here for a Family Reunion. It was a great day, beautiful weather!! Amazing we all survived with 27 kids and 14 adults, we were truely out numbered!!
