We miss Coco!!

Last night was a horrible night with our puppy. I got her home from the vet again, with the diagnosis that she has epilepsy. The vet put her on phenobarb twice a day, unfortunelty it did not help her, she had 3 seizures with in 5 hours, her one at 10:00pm was terrible, the worst I have ever seen. I was freaking out, yelling for Travis to get her. It was just a horrible sight. After she seizures she is very disoriented and mad. She bites and runs around the house very confused. We called the people we bought her from and they are taking her back and returning us our money. She was very nice and apoligetic. I feel so bad for the puppy, she is miserable. I did call the vet to let him know she is still having seizures on the medicine, and he had me up her amount. I really hope she will be okay, and that the seizures will be managed okay.
Needless to say I am on the quest for a new little baby girl. I found some in Inkom, ID, near Pocatello, and some in Afton WY. They are only 2 weeks old, so I may put a deposit on one of the girls. I really do want to try again. TRavis said if there is anything wrong with this dog, we are done with puppies!! I am sad we do not have Coco anymore, but hopefully she can get better.

Poor Puppy!

Well our scare was not so dumb afterall. I ended up having to take Coco back to the vet Monday afternoon for another seizure and diarriah. She ended up having to stay at the vet overnight so the doctor could run some charcoal through her tummy and give her some other medicine. I called to check on her today and they said she was doing well and we could come get her. About a half an hour later the vet called and said she had another seizure and will need to stay for further evauluation. I will call later this evening to see how her progress is. I hope she will be okay and this will not be a constant health issue for her. Poor little doggy!! I will keep everyone updated!!

New Parents of New puppy

My little Coco, was being wierd last night and was foaming at the mouth, and shaking all night. So this morning she was kinda doing the same thing. Travis, my hero took her to the vet to get checked. Even though she had just been to the vet a week and a half ago for a check up and shots. The vet said she looked good, sounded good and did not have a temperature. He said she probably was choking on something, puppies tend to get into things they are not supposed too. So we are parents of a new born and are rushing her to the doctor like this is our first baby!! Now,$44 dollars later, she is fine of course. Travis did say she was worth it. Sweetie!!

So it may take us a few days to decide the best name for this cute little cotton ball!! We thougt of cotton, nah!! Here are some pics of her we are so excited to have her here, I have been anxious all week. Now will be the fighting with kids to hold her, and of course the potty training. Joy!

She is 6 weeks old, and getting weaned from her mommy, so I will be able to get her next week. She is in Rexburg, and actually from an old accquaintance from several years ago. I am really excited to get her, I think we are naming her Delilah. I don't have any pictures of her yet, I didn't think to bring my camera last night when we went to go see her. New Church Duds!

Darling kids looked so nice for church Sunday. Just had to get a pic! We are so bad have not gotten a real family picture in 2 years. So we are definetly due for one. I am hoping by the end of January we can get a nice picture taken. Things will have slowed down enough to get us all together for a photo session. YEAH!! If you double click on the pic it will make the pic bigger so you can see faces better.

Snow, Snow

We have had a lot of snow! Travis is loving the new snowblower he bought, it has been wonderful with all the snow we have, and the bigger driveway. I can not imagine having to shovel that. The kids have also enjoyed being pulled on a sled by our 4-wheeler. We are enjoying the snow, despite how much we have received. Kason did not like the sled as much, so he hopped on the front with dad, much more fun!!
